While these concepts are incredibly rich and can individually have whole articles written on them, the gospel is simple and straightforward.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:list {\"ordered\":true,\"type\":\"a\"} --><\/p>\n<ol type=\"a\">\n<li>God is holy (1 John 1:5) and must judge sin (Nahum 1:3). His standard is perfection (Matthew 5:48).<\/li>\n<li>Man is sinful (Romans 3:10,23) and cannot be right with God by works (Ephesians 2:8-9).
